ROBOT GAME!
We will only be playing one game today.
Students must remember the directions
Turn Left, Turn Right, Go Straight, Turn Around.
There will be 4 teams, each team will have a robot. I will show the students what the secret number is, this is the students goal, they should try to find this number. The robot will have to listen to the directions from their team, and find the secret number. The team will get one point per correct number they find.
I will tape a pocket down on each square on the ground, when students land on a square they can either look in the pocket, or they can skip it.
Disasters!
If a robot makes a mistake, their team must change robots, and they lose a turn.
If a robot finds a Piranha Plant card, their team must change robots and start from the beginning.
If a robot finds a number that is wrong their team must change robots, and they lose a turn.
A robot cannot stand on the same square as another robot.
Power ups
If a robot finds a x2 Power up, they get to give two directions per every turn, the power up wears off if they change robots, or if the secret number is found by a team.
If the robot finds a x3 power up, they get to give two directions per every turn, the power up wears off if they change robots, or if the secret number is found by a team.
If the robot finds a Switch power up, they must change places with another robot.
If the robot finds a star power card they are immune to all disasters, the star power wears off when the secret number is found
